The Playlist recently gave us a sneak peek (or listen) to the score of CAPTAIN FANTASTIC.

The world of movie scores has never been more fascinating. Once the domain of big name composers, the field has expanded to included musicians and artists whose talents offer more than just traditional classical fare, which makes Alex Somers work on the upcoming “Captain Fantastic” one to keep an eye and ear out for. An engineer, mixer, and musician in his own right, who has collaborated with Jónsi Birgisson from Sigur Ros in Jónsi and Alex, in addition to doing extensive studio work, he strikes out on his own for this indie film and results are uniquely compelling.

You can purchase the score digitally on iTunes or pick up the Vinyl which is packaged with some pretty cool art prints. There is also a soundtrack from the film featuring music from various artists.
